Day 21 – Keep Score for Success

On day 7 of this journey, I wrote out many of my goals on 3×5 cards. Some of the goals, I have incremental steps to accomplish the ultimate goal. For example, I desire to become fluent in Spanish so I cam speak before an audience only in Spanish. For this goal, I broke it down to learning 5 new words a day by 9:00 PM. I am tracking my score by having the dates written on the card and checking it off as I accomplished my goal for the day. This is an easy way of keeping score for success.

You can track the positive side of any of your goals. If you want to spend more time at home, keep score of your times at home. If you want to set more appointments, keep track of your appointments set and strive to add to that each week. If you have an income goal, create a thermometer that you fill up as you add to your income. There is a positive reinforcement that happens as you see your progress being drawn out before you.

Remember that success comes as your mind embraces and visualizes your success. This is just another tool in your toolbox to help you move closer to accomplishing your goals.
